Two are nurses and two others work at hospitals. Then, there's my stepdaughter, who also works in the healthcare field, now as a home healthcare worker. I pray constantly they will survive this mess.<br /><br />Al Kaline will be remembered, for sure. My younger brother in law worked for Kuppenheimer for a number of years. He related a number of times what a class act Al Kaline was. As a Red Sox fan, I considered Al Kaline one of the classiest opposing players. He personified the Tigers in the same way that Mantle personified the Yankees, Banks the Cubs, Mays the Giants... I cried for my grandparents, my dad and my mom and my brother. Other than a few stifled tears that is about it. <br /><br />Except I cried when Micky Mantle passed. I get it, it is not just a hero, but it is the death of a piece of you childhood.
