In other news, Jenn and I are spending the weekend in a city an hour-and-a-half away from Our Town, helping to put on a marriage retreat. Which seems suitably apropos of St. Valentine's feast day, in its own way. . .

I'm guessing you guys put on a swell marriage retreat. Any interesting tales?
ReplyDeleteThe retreat was called Living in Love, and it is an amazing retreat. We were one of five 'presenting couples'. We met some amazing people there, who made me wonder what the heck I was doing presenting to them.
DeleteWithout telling any tales out of school, I'll just say that the 'homework assignment' we give the attending couples for Saturday night is always a high point of the retreat. . .
Oh boy, does the local hospital know about your retreat? I mean, they might wanna know before November comes along for planning purposes ;-)
