Oh, the Irony. . .
Does anyone besides me just want to say, "Ha-ha, good one, God; you are quite the Divine Comedian, you are," when
(a) on the quote-unquote Last Day of Winter it was 70 degrees and sunny, and I even took a half-day of vacation so I could get out on my bike, because
(b) on the quote-unquote First Day of Spring it is 35 degrees and snowing?
I tell ya, He's got a million of 'em. . .

(edit March 22)
After the manic mood swings of the previous couple days, yesterday - the quote-unquote Second Day of Spring - was actually a very nice, 'seasonal' type of day - about 45 and sunny. . .
And my Spartans are through to the Sweet Sixteen once again! I tell ya, I do love me some March Madness!

irony indeed...
ReplyDeleteI'd say you live in my town! Shorts one day, winter parka the next!
ReplyDeleteYes, that's how it is around here also. God's funny like that -- one of the things I love about Him. :)
ReplyDeleteLime - You wanna tell Him?
ReplyDeleteCocotte - Well, not so far away as all that, eh? ;)
Phyllis - So you find His sense of humor to be endearing, then?
Absolutely. :)
ReplyDeleteBtw, did you ever read the book Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller? I'm finishing his next one -- Searching For God Knows What -- and loving it even more.
I have not read that book yet, altho you are not the first person to recommend it to me. . .
ReplyDeleteAt the moment, I'm reading Jesus-Shock, by Peter Kreeft; which, like all of Kreeft's books, is a great read. . .
